Yes. VILU is designed and built specifically for commercial environments — hotels, restaurants, cafés, resorts and rooftop bars — as well as residential use. Unlike many outdoor furniture brands that void warranty when residential products are used commercially, VILU's full 5-year frame warranty and 3-year powder coat warranty apply to commercial installations.

VILU provides a 5-year structural warranty on the aluminium frame, covering welds, joints, fasteners and rivets under normal use. The AkzoNobel powder coat finish is covered for 3 years against premature peeling, flaking or bubbling.

Both periods apply to commercial and residential use and run from the original purchase date. Normal wear, gradual UV fading, and corrosion in coastal or chlorinated environments without regular maintenance are not covered.

For items held in our Sydney stock, orders paid today can be dispatched the same day, subject to carrier availability. Customer pickup from Sydney is also available.

Because stock levels change, we ask customers to confirm availability with our team via WhatsApp or live chat before payment. Once confirmed, stock can be reserved for 15 minutes while you complete the order.

Delivery within Sydney is free on orders over $10,000 AUD. Below that threshold, Sydney delivery is quoted based on volume.

We deliver Australia-wide from our Sydney stock. Freight to other states and regional areas is quoted per order based on destination and volume. Customer pickup from Sydney is always available at no charge.

Yes. Colour swatches and product samples are available at cost. If you place an order within the same calendar month, the sample cost is deducted from your order.

You are also welcome to visit our showroom at any time to see the colours and products in person before deciding.

Aluminium does not rust, which makes it a far better choice than steel for coastal and poolside installations. The AkzoNobel architectural powder coat is formulated for UV and weather exposure.

That said, furniture within roughly 500 metres of the ocean, or regularly exposed to pool chlorine, needs more frequent cleaning with mild soapy water and fresh-water rinsing. Corrosion or finish deterioration caused by salt or chlorine without that maintenance falls outside the warranty.

VILU works with more than 45 design partners across Italy, France, the United States, China, Kazakhstan and Russia. Manufacturing is carried out in our own facilities across Turkey, China, Vietnam, Italy, Spain and Brazil, with the raw material and AkzoNobel powder coating sourced directly rather than through third parties.

Yes. VILU produces custom and exclusive designs for clients who want furniture made to their own specification.

How it works: if the design requires a mould we do not already hold, the minimum order is one 40HQ container. Development and tooling costs — mould, powder and raw material — are paid up front. Where we can support a smaller first run, we sign a supply agreement covering exclusive sale of that product.

Timeline: mould development takes 30 to 60 days once the design is confirmed, followed by a minimum 45-day production run. Samples must be inspected before production — either at our factory in person, or shipped by air, as sea freight adds too much time.

Yes. Send us a photograph, a sketch or simply a description of what you have in mind, and our design team will work it up into a manufacturable product.

You receive full 2D and 3D drawings within a maximum of 20 days, with three rounds of revisions included. Everything supplied at this stage is an estimation for approval — nothing goes into production until you confirm the final design.

A recoating service is currently being established in Australia. Once live, you will be able to have existing VILU furniture refinished — either restored in its original colour or changed to any of the nine signature colours — at our best available price.

It is a practical option for venues refreshing a fitout without replacing furniture that is still structurally sound. Contact us to register interest.

No. There is no minimum order on our standard range — you can order a single chair or fit out an entire venue. Trade and commercial accounts receive tiered pricing based on volume, and project support is available Australia-wide.

Yes — VILU chairs are designed to stack, which matters for venues that clear the floor at close, store furniture seasonally, or need to reconfigure a space quickly for functions.

Stacking also reduces the storage footprint significantly compared to non-stacking chairs, which is worth factoring in when you are planning a fitout with limited back-of-house space.

Yes. Feet caps, glides and other accessories can be purchased separately at any time.

For commercial venues this matters more than it sounds — feet caps are the first component to wear on high-traffic furniture, and replacing a small part keeps a chair in service rather than forcing you to replace the whole piece. Aluminium is 100% recyclable and can be recycled indefinitely without losing structural quality — unlike plastic, which degrades with each cycle, or composite materials that cannot be separated for recycling at end of life.

It also lasts longer in Australian conditions than steel or timber, which means fewer replacement cycles. The most sustainable furniture is generally the furniture you do not have to replace.

Aluminium does not rust. Steel does — and in Australian coastal conditions it rusts fast. Even stainless steel and powder-coated steel corrode when exposed to salt air or pool chlorine over time.

Aluminium is also significantly lighter, which makes stacking, moving and daily handling easier for staff, while still being strong enough for commercial use. For any venue near the coast, a pool, or in a humid climate, aluminium is the practical choice.

Chairs, armchairs, bar chairs and stools arrive fully assembled — unpack them and put them straight into service. Nothing to build.

Tables require assembly, which is straightforward: the top and base ship separately and are joined on site. Assembly instructions are supplied with every table. If you are fitting out a venue and want assembly handled for you, ask our team when you order.

Mild soapy water and a soft cloth is all that is required. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water and dry.

Avoid bleach, ammonia, acetone, petrol, abrasive pads, and alcohol-based cleaners above 30% concentration — these damage the powder coat and void the finish warranty.
